183問：我們當為誰禱告？

答：我們當：

（1） 為基督在地上的整個教會禱告（弗6:18；詩28:9）；

（2） 為公民政府的長官（提 前2:1－2）， 為牧者（西4:3）禱告；

（3） 為我們自己（創32:11），為我們的弟兄（雅5:16），也為我們的敵人禱告（太5:44）；

（4） 為各種活著的人（提 前2:1－2）， 也為將要來到這個世界的人禱告（約17:20； 撒下7:29）；

（5） 但是，不可為死人禱告（撒 下12:21－23），也不可為那些已經知道犯了至於死的罪的人禱告（約壹5:16）。

[1168] Ephesians 6:18. Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints. Psalm 28:9. Save thy people, and bless thine inheritance: feed them also, and lift them up for ever.

But now he is dead, wherefore should I fast? can I bring him back again? I shall go to him, but he shall not return to me.

[1177] 1 John 5:16. If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it.
