39問：為什麼這一中保必須是人呢？
答：這一中保必須是人，
（1）如此祂才能增進我們的性情（來2:16），順服律法（加4:4），在我們的性情中為我們受苦，並為我們代禱（來2:14；7:24－25），體恤我們的軟弱（來4:15）；
（2）並使我們可以得兒子的名分（加4:5），得安慰，坦然無懼地來到施恩寶座前（來4:16）。
