85問：既然死亡是罪的工價，而義人的罪在基督裡都蒙赦免，為什麼他們沒有脫離死亡呢？

答：義人在末日的時候就會脫離死亡，即使在死亡之時，也脫離了死亡的毒 鉤和咒詛（林前15:26，55－57； 來2:15）；因此，雖然他們也死亡，但這是出於上帝的慈愛（賽57:1－2；王下 22:20），使他們完全從罪和愁苦中釋放出來（啟14:13；弗5:27），進入榮耀裡，與基督有更深的聯合（路23:43；腓1:23）。
