73問：在上帝的眼中，信心如何使罪人稱義呢？
答：在上帝的眼中，信心使罪人稱義，
（1）絕不是因為隨之而來的其它美德，或信心所結的善行的果子（加3:11；羅3:28），也不是說信心這一美德、或信心的行為可算為他的義（羅4:5，比較羅10:10）；
（2）只是因為信心是器皿，罪人由此接受基督和祂的義，並運用在自己的身上（約1:12；腓3:9；加2:16）。

答：信心使罪人在神面前得稱為義，
（1）並非因為那些必與之俱來的其他恩惠，也不是因為信心所結的善行之果，也不是因為將信心的恩惠（或因之而來的行為）歸算在罪人身上，使他稱義；
（2）只是因為信心是媒介工具，罪人藉此領受並支取基督和祂的義。
