4問：如何曉得聖經就是上帝的聖言呢？
答：聖經是上帝的聖言，由以下方面可知：
（1） 聖經體裁的莊嚴（何8:12；林前2:6-7，13； 詩119:18，129），教理的純正（詩12:6；詩 119:140），各部的契合（徒10:43；26:22），範圍的全備（全歸榮耀於上帝）（羅3:19，27）；
（2） 使罪人知罪、歸正，使信徒得安慰、得造就，以致最終使人得救的亮光和力量（徒18:28；來4:12； 雅1:18；詩19:7－9；羅15:4；徒20:32）， 都證明聖經是上帝的聖言；
（3） 但是，惟獨上帝的聖靈，藉著並同著聖經 在人心中的見證，才能完全使人信服聖經確實是上帝的聖言（約16:13-14；約壹2:20，27；約20:31）。

答：聖經顯明自己是神的道，是藉著：
（1）文體莊嚴偉大，教義純正清潔；內容各部分的合一，範圍的整全，都是要將一切榮耀歸於上帝；
（2）聖經的亮光與權能，勸服罪人認罪悔改；安慰建立信徒，以致得救到底；
（3）然而，唯有上帝的聖靈，藉著聖經與伴隨聖經，在人心中所作的見證，才能使人完全確信聖經就是上帝的道。

罗15:4 从前所写的圣经都是为教训我们写的，叫我们因圣经所生的忍耐和安慰可以得着盼望。
徒20:32 如今我把你们交托 神和他恩惠的道；这道能建立你们，叫你们和一切成圣的人同得基业。

[7] Hosea 8:12. I have written to him the great things of my law, but they were counted as a strange thing. 1 Corinthians 2:6-7, 13. Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought: But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:... Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. Psalm 119:18, 129. Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law.... Thy testimonies are wonderful: therefore doth my soul keep them.
[8] Psalm 12:6. The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Psalm 119:140. Thy word is very pure: therefore thy servant loveth it.
[9] Acts 10:43. To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins. Acts 26:22. Having therefore obtained help of God, I continue unto this day, witnessing both to small and great, saying none other things than those which the prophets and Moses did say should come.
[10] Romans 3:19, 27. Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.... Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith.
[11] Acts 18:28. For he mightily convinced the Jews, and that publicly, showing by the scriptures that Jesus was Christ. Hebrews 4:12. For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. James 1:18. Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures. Psalm 19:7-9. The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple. The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes. The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether. Romans 15:4. For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope. Acts 20:32. And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.

Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will show you things to come. He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall show it unto you. 1 John 2:20, 27. But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things.... But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him. John 20:31. But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.
